Since
the launch of the Ghirardelli campaign a few months ago, over 11,000 of
you have called on Ghirardelli to do the right thing and go Fair Trade.
The chocolate company has been paying close attention to your demands
and we have now secured a date to meet with Ghirardelli executives.
In a few days, we will be sitting
down with representatives from the company and we want to bring more of
your voices to the table. Help keep the pressure on and add your personal message to share with the executives.
Let them know that you want a
chocolate company that is Fair Trade and can guarantee that farmers and
communities are getting a fair price, that no children have to work
instead of going to school, and that the environment is protected. Not
only that, you want democratic decision making for the farmers and
community empowerment.
